PARTNERSHIPS

Each Association/ NGO/ and Organization can become an associate member of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria “Selena”. The main condition to become a partner of the Association is to want to help each other in the activities we organize individually or together, both through channels of communication or organized activities. Any partnership proposal shall be considered within 10 days of its submission by the management board of “Selena”. Upon approval, you will become an associate member of the Association and we will look forward to partnering with you.

Women’s Entrepreneurship Day 

Women’s Entrepreneurship Day is the International Day of Female Entrepreneurs. The Organization of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day is a movement to empower, celebrate and support women in business all around the world. For Bulgaria, the Association of Women Entrepreneurs “Selena” has been chosen to be ambassador and as such, has the right to organize all the events and activities in order to celebrate the day.

EWA (European Women Association)   

The European Women Association is a global platform that empowers female founders by establishing a strong and safe foundation for women-led projects and initiatives. EWA’s objectives aim to create a community of female entrepreneurs and to develop their leadership qualities through trainings and networking. ¨Selena¨ is EWA’s partner for Bulgaria.

WEgate

WEgate is an online platform that aims to help female entrepreneurs to start and develop their business with the support of an engaged community and knowledge sharing. We would like to help them to find the best opportunities for networking, experienced mentors and space for growth.

WeConnect International

 WEConnect International is a global network that connects women owned enterprises with qualified buyers around the world.

For Our Children Foundation

For Our Children Foundation is a Bulgarian non-governmental organization that has been supporting vulnerable children and their families since 1992. The Foundation provides free professional social services for children and families at risk in the two largest cities in the country – Sofia and Plovdiv. The team of specialists in early childhood development, psychologists, social workers and people dedicated to the cause, work tirelessly so that one day all the children at risk in Bulgaria get a chance to live in a protected family environment, develop their full potential and make all their dreams come true.

SIE Union Bulgaria

Soroptimist International of Europe in Bulgaria brings together women in professions and business who work with each other at local, national and international levels to educate, empower and enable women and girls with an aim to improving their lives. Soroptimists have addressed women’s issues in their communities and beyond since Soroptimist International was founded in 1921. Today, they are a strong international network of some 70,000 women, who are powerful and effective advocates of women’s and girls’ rights. Today, Soroptimist International of Europe, the largest of the four Federations of Soroptimist International, is comprised of about 31,500 women across Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean. In Bulgaria, Soroptimist has been operating for more than 20 years and there are communities of women and girls in Sofia, Ruse, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas.

Association of Medical Aestheticians (AMA

The Association of Medical Aestheticians (AMA) is a non-profit organization established in 2017. Its objectives aim to support and protect the interests of specialists with professional qualification Medical beautician, who can practice the profession in various fields of both medical and cosmetic sectors, including dermatological and dermato-cosmetic clinics. The main goal of the association is to bring together the representatives of the cosmetic sector and, in particular medical beauticians, in a community of like-minded people with common values, ethical and professional principles and standards. That way, they all together can better assert their rights and work in an environment that promotes partnership and makes possible the constructive dialogue between the various actors in aesthetic medicine, as well as the relationship with public institutions and other state, private and civil organizations of common interest for all of us.

Bulgarian Industrial Association

The Bulgarian Industrial Association – Union of the Bulgarian Business (BIA) is a non-governmental organization, established on April 25th, 1980. During its 40 years of history, BIA has proved itself as one of the leading partners of the state in defining the economic policy while maintaining its governmental and political impartiality. The Bulgarian Industrial Association is guided solely by the virtues of national responsibility, competence, and integrity. BIA was recognized as a representative organization of employers on a national level by decision no. 669 of August 11th, 2016.

Federation of Mediterranean Businesswomen Associations

AFAEMME is the FEDERATION OF MEDITERRANEAN BUSINESSWOMEN ASSOCIATIONS, launched in 2002 in Barcelona (Spain). AFAEMME is currently comprised of 63 businesswomen organizations from 23 Mediterranean countries. AFAEMME is a coordinator of Euro Mediterranean business, gender equality projects and ground-breaking research, it also serves as a networking platform for businesswomen and women entrepreneurs in the Euro Mediterranean region and a Lobby for strengthening gender equality and facilitating the access of women to decision-making positions in the economy.

Selena Italy

SELENA ITALY Associazione di Promozione per l’Imprenditoria Femminile (Association for Promotion of Female Entrepreneurship) was created to promote and commend women’s skills in their entrepreneurship and self-employment at national and international level. The ability to operate and the desire to spread the idea of gender differences and Women omics as a key to the attainment of women’s full employment and for the development of a sustainable economy is the Association’s distinctive feature.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Dobrich

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Dobrich (CCI) was established in 1990 as a non-governmental organization, built on the principles of volunteering, autonomy and self-financing. We currently have about 200 members, both private and state-owned companies from Dobrich region. The CCI also provides assistance to private individuals and non-members. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Dobrich was established in the belief that the promotion of local activities and entrepreneurs will contribute to regional economic development and prosperity. The objectives of the organization are to stimulate international trade and investment, promote exchanges of good practices and represent the interests of its members at local and international level.
